Mark your calendar now for May 20 at 10-11am for Accuquilt Club!! Our schedule will be as follows:
1. Show and Tell. Bring your projects you are working on or have finished.
2. Bring some fabric to cut up. This month we will feature the “4 inch Tumbler block die”. Bring 5 inch squares of fabric to cut up into tumbler blocks. I will have the die but if you have any 6x6 mats, please bring them. Thanks! A GREAT WAY TO USE UP THOSE CHARM PACKS YOU DON’T KNOW WHAT TO DO WITH!! Or just bring fabric you would like to cut up into other sizes and shapes. Please email me if you have a request for a certain size or shape and I will let you know if I have it to bring.
3. Block of the month showcase. Again, I will show you how to construct one of the blocks from a Go Qube.
4.. Bring your questions, ideas, comments about anything Accuquilt !!
Directly following club at 11:00am-3:00pm we will be making mug rugs. (And if time permits also tumbler block baby quilts)
The cost for class is $25.00 each month. The additional cost for the kit is $2.00. This will include the pattern, use of the 6 inch or 8 inch circle die, the center of the mug rug (it’s a SURPRISE!!) and also will include some scraps of fabric if you don’t bring your own. If you have lots of scraps (and what quilter doesn’t….) bring your scraps especially if you want the mug rug to be certain colors.
If time permits, we will also be cutting and sewing additional tumbler blocks for baby quilts so bring children’s fabric if you would like.
